Belize Transportation System

To see Belize at your own pace, renting a vehicle is your best option. Do remember to drive on the right side of the road at a speed that you can handle, overtaking other vehicles only when it is safe to do so. See our map on the left for car rentals locations.

If you prefer to travel by bus look for terminals in all towns and cities. Express buses run from one terminal to the next without stopping. If your destination is along the highway be sure to take a regular bus. Schedules are posted at all terminals but you can use our bus schedule to help plan your trip.
